The healthcare system is facing major challenges. High costs, an ageing society and the increasing shortage of specialists can lead to serious consequences on both sides of the border. 

This can only be countered by new, innovative approaches. These include the use of artificial intelligence, advancing digitalization and significantly expanded prevention. This requires networking between science, business and healthcare providers. The healthcare systems in the Netherlands and Germany take different approaches, so close integration of the players on both sides of the border can make the best of both worlds and generate innovative impetus. 

The Dutch-German Business Dialogue on December 3rd, 2024 in Münster will provide a platform to discuss solutions for overcoming the challenges. The focus here will be on prevention in particular. Following a keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Alexander Friedrich, the subsequent panel discussion with companies from the MedTech and healthcare sector will offer all German and Dutch players a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and network.
